Financial Assistance
Financial assistance applications for the 2010 – 2011 school year are now being accepted.
 
At Santa Margarita Catholic High School, our objective is to provide an effective college preparatory education for each of our students. In addition to excellence in skills and abilities of the various arts and disciplines, we work to develop in our students a positive sense of self worth, self-discipline, personal responsibility, commitment, and a desire to lead. It is our desire that every student have the opportunity to receive a Catholic education. In order to facilitate the ability to receive this opportunity, financial assistance is available for all students. Assistance is awarded based on need.
 
SMCHS has contracted with FACTS (a tuition management service) to collect the necessary information to process your financial application. While FACTS provides a preliminary assessment of your financial standing, this is not the sole criteria for evaluation. Please be sure to submit all of the requested documentation in order to ensure timely processing of your application. Applying for Financial Assistance
Required Documents
  • FACTS Application - Apply here
  • SMCHS Questionnaire - Download here and return to FACTS
  • Tax information as stated on FACTS application
  • Payment - $25 processing fee due at time of application; payable to FACTS
Incomplete applications will be delayed in processing. Submit all of the required information to FACTS. Please DO NOT return information directly to SMCHS.
Upon receipt of your application, FACTS will contact you directly confirming receipt. Should any information be missing or incomplete, you will be advised accordingly.
 
Registration for 2010 – 2011 school year
Payment required at time of registration; payable to SMCHS.
Early Registration - March 26 by 4:00pm: $300.00 per student
 
Registration - March 26 after 4:00 pm: $400.00 per student
