Parent Teacher Guild
About The Guild
The Guild is an organization consisting of all parents, administrators, faculty and staff of Santa Margarita Catholic High School. Its purpose is to promote and facilitate open communication within the school community and to support our school's policies and Christian philosophy. Membership is "automatic," that is, no paperwork or dues are required. To successfully meet our goals, however, we need the support of all of our members.
Each year the Guild sponsors a number of events and programs in order to meet these goals. From our Welcome BBQ in September, to supporting several programs throughout the school year to the Golf Marathon in the spring. Please note the information below regarding our "Safe Homes" program. We also appreciate your support of our fall Gift Wrap Fundraiser and the annual Christmas Program. The proceeds of these fundraisers benefit many of our Guild-sponsored programs.
As representatives of your Guild, we are available to you and welcome any suggestions, questions or concerns you might have. Information regarding Guild-sponsored events and programs will be included in school newsletters and in mailings to you. We encourage each of you, as Guild members and committed parents, to support all Guild-sponsored events and programs. God bless you and your families.

Safe Homes Program
The Safe Homes Program is a voluntary uniting of parents to promote a healthy attitude against underage and illegal alcohol and drug use by SMCHS students. Each school year, all parents who are committed to adhering to the Safe Homes Pledge, are offered the opportunity to sign the Safe Homes Commitment Card and be included in the Safe Homes list. Click here for more information and to sign up to be a “Safe Home”.
Safe Homes Pledge: We will not allow gatherings or parties in our home without adult supervision. We will not allow students under the legal drinking age to consume alcohol in our home or on our property. We will not allow the use of illegal drugs in our home or on our property.

Gift Wrap Fundraiser: The monies we earn from the Gift Wrap Sales help to offset the costs of the Safe Homes programs, and the Welcome BBQ. The sale starts in August, and continues through October, with gift wrap orders delivered typically before Thanksgiving. With each gift wrap order received over $25, you are entered in a drawing to win a gift basket. These drawings will be held weekly starting in October.
